CALL FOR ARTISTS (Student)

BlueStream gallery is hosting an open call for students of all disciplines levels for a group exhibition titled "Peace and…" from June 26th to July 13th, 2024. The gallery is inviting applications from students working in two-dimensional or three-dimensional media, encouraging interpretations of peace. The contest not only showcases the students' talents but also welcomes them into a growing artistic community.

To all students - we welcome your creativity, your imagination, and your stories. Together, let's make your dream comes true.

Deadline for entries: May 12, 2024

Winners will be notified: May 20, 2024

Exhibition Date: June 26 - July 13, 2024

Opening Reception: June 29, 2024

Entry Fee

  • The application fee is $100 for the 3 - 5 images.

  • You may submit more than once

  • Entry fees are non - refundable.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Send the application through website or an email (bluestreamgallery@gmail.com)

  • Select an image (up to 3 MB) of your artwork / JPG or JPEG files only

  • Resolution of 72

  • Do not send images of your artwork that have been framed or contain watermarks.

  • Include an artwork description to be included with your art

  • Submit your artwork

  • Pay to BlueStream Gallery bank account

  • After your payment is complete, you will receive a confirmation email

IMAGE LABELING

IMAGE LABELING: The image should be labeled as LastName_FirstName_Title_Medium_Size_Year.jpg.

Example: Jack_Alex_Title_Acrylic on Canvas_20x30_2023.jpg.

ACCEPTABLE MEDIUMS
This is an international competition and it is open to all artists 15 to 19 years old. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage, or installation art) except photography, video, and sound art.

AWARDS

  • Grand Award - Artwork will be exhibited in the main section.

  • Selected entries will be exhibited in our gallery.

  • Certificates will be issued to all the selected winners.

  • BlueStream Gallery utilizes the Submittable platform to receive, process and jury all competition entries.
